The Bed Bench is nearing completion. At the March 2011 First Friday it was free standing. The seat of this bench lifts to reveal storage space. The Bench seat is made of 23 different hard wood scraps. This piece is an example of what Barn Owl is about. Using old furniture (head and foot board) and material that would normally be discarded (seat material) to form a new piece of furniture, a storage bench.
